High-Speed Twin Rotor VSI Crusher

Advanced, energy-efficient crushing technology for industrial slag and side streams. The magnetic separator by Moviator Oy is an essential component of the company’s advanced material processing solutions, transforming industrial side streams into valuable secondary raw materials. It works in synergy with Moviator’s patented twin-rotor VSI crusher and fine grinding units to maximize liberation and separation efficiency for steel slag, incinerator bottom ash (IBA), and other metal-bearing residues.

Innovative Crushing Mechanism

The system features two vertically aligned rotors spinning in opposite directions. Material is fed from above into the center of the crusher. The lower rotor accelerates the input via centrifugal force toward the upper rotor, where it encounters high-speed impact pins. This creates intense, controlled collisions that effectively break down particles. Thanks to interchangeable rotor configurations, the crusher can deliver 2 to 6 impact events in a single pass, depending on the desired material characteristics. This ensures optimized crushing performance for a wide range of input types and processing goals.
