From Then to Now
Innovation Begins, 2012
Frustrated with conventional crushers that couldn’t handle our materials efficiently, we set out to find a better solution. After extensive testing, Pertti’s breakthrough revealed the power of two opposite-spinning rotors, maximizing impact speed and liberating valuable materials. This insight became the foundation of our unique VSI crusher design, launching our journey of innovation.
Real-World Application
We built our own slag processing line in Koverhar, Finland, where we process BOF slag. Using our VSI crushers and magnetic separators, we achieve metallic purity of 85–95%, selling the recovered metal in bulk. Non-metallic slag is finely ground and supplied to the cement industry. Customers can also test their materials directly at our facility, ensuring tailored solutions for every need.
